Terms of Service

The terms for every program, in plain language.

In short: these terms cover the free first set, the 21-Day Course, Y4V Live and The Harmonious Violinist. You must be 18 or older. The course is yours to keep, for your own use. Payments for the course go through my checkout partner, Dodo Payments, which is the seller of record. The guarantees and how refunds work are in the Refund Policy, what I do with your information is in the Privacy Policy, and the Participation Agreement that every student accepts covers health, safety and how disputes are resolved. If you live outside the United States, you keep every right your own country's law gives you.

Effective November 2, 2026.

1. Who I am, and these terms

  • "I," "me" and "my" mean Samuel Wexler, an individual based in Mexico City, Mexico, doing business as Yoga for Violinists, violin.yoga, yogaforviolinists.com, Yoga for Musicians, musicians.yoga and Harmonious Reality, and any business I own or control that offers these programs. "You" means the person using the sites or taking part.
  • What these terms cover: the sites above, the free Day/Set 1, the 21-Day Course (with its Toolbox and bonus mini-courses), Y4V Live, The Harmonious Violinist (one-on-one), gifts of the course, sponsored seats and scholarships (together, "the programs").
  • The other documents that apply, and are part of these terms: the Participation Agreement (the release of liability, assumption of risk and arbitration agreement every student accepts before starting), the Refund Policy and the Privacy Policy. If something in these terms conflicts with the Participation Agreement about health, safety, liability or disputes, the Participation Agreement controls.
  • How to reach me: [email protected] for anything about the programs; [email protected] for legal notices.

2. Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older. The programs are designed for adults, and no one under 18 may enroll or take part.
  • Your access is for you alone. Please don't share your login, your recordings or the course materials with anyone else.
  • If anything about your health makes the programs a poor fit, please read sections 3 and 4 of the Participation Agreement before you start, and check with a professional who knows your history.

3. The programs

The free Day/Set 1. For now, the complete first set is a gift: sign up with your email, confirm it, and you get access. I may change or end the free offer at any time; anyone who already has access keeps it.

The 21-Day Course. Twenty-one Day/Sets, each with five modules on video (Meditation+, Asana, Workshop, Violin yoga and Insight), plus the Toolbox. One new set opens each day after you start, and every set already open stays open. Some bonuses are added progressively after launch, including the two bonus mini-courses (Harmonious Vibrato and Lila: Playful Violin, planned for early 2027); you get each one when it's released, at no extra cost.

  • Lifetime access. You're buying the course outright, for your own use, for as long as it exists. If I ever take it off the platform it's hosted on, I'll give you a downloadable copy of everything you bought.
  • Improvements. I keep improving the course. I may re-record, reorder or replace parts of it, as long as what you have is at least as complete as what you bought.

Y4V Live. A ten-week cohort that goes through the course together, with two live calls a week, feedback on short videos you send me, one 45-minute private call, a private group space, and six months of monthly group calls afterwards. Each cohort has a fixed start date, a seat limit, and an application with a call before you're invited to join. The founding cohort starts the week of January 11, 2027.

The Harmonious Violinist (one-on-one). Six months of private work, two 60-minute sessions a week by video, then a monthly check-in for six months and one every three months for a year, as described on its page. It starts with an application and a call.

  • Scheduling. We set your session times together. To move a session, tell me at least 24 hours before; I'll do the same. Sessions missed without that notice may not be made up, though I'll always try.
  • The custom Kreddle chin rest in the package is made by its own maker; its fitting and any warranty come from them.

Live calls and recordings. Live calls may be recorded so members can catch up, and recordings are shared only with the people in that program. I'll say when a call is being recorded. You can keep your camera off, and you can ask me not to include something you shared.

Things outside my control. If I can't hold a live session (illness, an emergency, an outage), I'll reschedule it. If I ever have to cancel a live program before it starts, you get a full refund; if I have to end one early, you get a fair partial refund for what you didn't receive.

4. Prices, payment and taxes

  • Prices are in US dollars. Any amount shown in another currency is an estimate at that day's exchange rate; the exact amount is shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Founding prices are real, limited offers: for the 21-Day Course, the first 20 students; for Y4V Live, the first cohort; for The Harmonious Violinist, the first 3 clients. When a founding offer ends, the price rises for new buyers. It never changes what you already paid.
  • The course is sold through Dodo Payments, my checkout partner and the seller of record for online purchases. Dodo takes your payment, charges any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live, and issues your receipt. Its own terms apply to the payment.
  • Paying over time. Where the checkout offers it (for example Klarna or Afterpay in the US), a payment plan is an agreement between you and that provider. For Y4V Live and The Harmonious Violinist, a payment plan is set out on your invoice; if a payment is more than 14 days late, I may pause your access until it's paid.
  • Y4V Live and The Harmonious Violinist are paid by invoice, in full or by the plan on the invoice, before the first session. Your seat or start date is held once the first payment arrives.
  • Moving up. If you move from one program to a bigger one, what you paid for the first counts toward the new one's price: the 21-Day Course toward Y4V Live or The Harmonious Violinist, and Y4V Live toward The Harmonious Violinist. The credit is the amount you actually paid, used once; a purchase that was refunded can't also be credited.
  • Gifts and sponsored seats are purchases like any other. A gift is delivered to the person you name; a sponsored seat goes to a scholarship applicant, and I add a second seat for every one sponsored. Sponsoring a seat is not a donation and isn't tax-deductible: Yoga for Violinists is not a charity.
  • Scholarships are given at my discretion, based on the applications I receive. A scholarship gives the same access as a purchase, for the person it's given to; it can't be transferred or exchanged for money.

5. Refunds

Every paid program comes with a guarantee: if you don't feel better, you get your money back, on the terms in the Refund Policy. It also explains your legal rights to cancel, which nothing in these terms takes away.

6. Education, not healthcare

The programs are movement, breath, meditation and music-practice education, not medical care, physical therapy or psychotherapy. They're designed to help musicians practice in healthier, more sustainable ways and to reduce the risk of playing-related strain, but I can't promise to prevent, reduce or relieve any pain, injury or condition. The Participation Agreement sets out the risks, your responsibilities and the release you give before you start.

7. What's mine, and what you may do with it

  • Everything in the programs (the videos, audio, texts, sequences, names, images and designs) belongs to me or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other laws.
  • I give you a personal, non-transferable license to watch, listen to and practice with the material you have access to, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, download (except where I offer a download), share, sell, teach from, record or publish it, or use it to build a competing course or to train an AI model.
  • If you teach, you're welcome to tell your students about the course and to apply what you've learned in your own playing and teaching, in your own words. You may not present my material as yours, or use the course content itself in your teaching.

8. What you share with me

  • Videos and messages you send for feedback are used only to give you feedback, and to keep a record of your progress. I won't share or publish them without your permission.
  • Feedback and testimonials. As a founding student or client, I'll ask for honest feedback, your before-and-after ratings and, if the course helped you, a few words about it. Sharing a testimonial is always your choice, never a condition of your price, your refund or your access, and I'll never ask for a positive one. I'll only publish your words, name or image with your permission, and you can withdraw that permission for future use at any time.
  • Ideas you send me about improving the programs, I'm free to use, with thanks and without owing you anything.

9. In the group spaces

Be kind, be honest, and keep what others share in the group within the group. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing or sexual, and don't advertise. I may remove posts, or remove someone from a group, to keep it a safe and supportive place; if I remove you from a paid program for this reason, I'll refund the part of the program you haven't received, unless the removal was for serious harassment.

10. Changes and availability

  • The sites are offered as they are. I work to keep them running, but I can't promise they'll always be available or free of errors.
  • I may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one in effect when you bought; for later changes, I'll post the new version here with its date, and for any meaningful change I'll tell enrolled students by email at least 14 days before it applies to them.

11. Limits on my liability

To the extent the law allows, and except as the Participation Agreement says, my total liability to you for any claim about the programs is limited to the amount you paid me for the program the claim is about, and I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example lost income or lost opportunities). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for gross negligence, recklessness or intentional misconduct, or any right you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

12. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please write to me first at [email protected]; most things are easy to put right. If we can't resolve it, disputes are resolved as set out in Section 12 of the Participation Agreement (individual arbitration or small-claims court, with a 30-day opt-out), and Colorado law governs these terms, as it governs that agreement. If you haven't accepted the Participation Agreement, the same Section 12 applies to disputes about these terms.

If you live outside the United States and are a consumer, you keep any protection the law of your country gives you that can't be waived by contract, including, where that law provides it, the right to bring a claim in the courts where you live. In Mexico, that includes your rights under the Federal Consumer Protection Law (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor) and your right to go to PROFECO.

13. General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If I don't enforce a part of these terms right away, I can still do so later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; I may transfer mine to a business I own or control, or to a successor that keeps the programs going, and your access continues on the same terms. These terms, with the documents in section 1, are the whole agreement between us about the programs.
